The Department of Medicine in the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina is seeking applicants for the position of Chief of the Division of Medical Oncology. The Division of Medical Oncology is a flagship Division in the Duke Department of Medicine. The Division is integrated as a Program within the Duke Cancer Institute, one of the original eight National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, and a single entity that draws from researchers and physicians across various departments and schools at Duke to advance cancer care and research. We have a diverse faculty with excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with Duke leadership on the internal medicine services of Duke University Health System (DUHS), oversee a vibrant basic, translational, and clinical research program focused on the mechanisms and practices that influence human health, and develop the next generation of providers. Candidates should have a high level of experience in clinical care, education, and research and the ability to provide leadership and direction to advance the key missions of the division. A demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment is also expected.

Applicants for this position must have an MD degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine, be board-certified in Internal Medicine, and be eligible for appointment at the Associate Professor level or higher (tenure track) at Duke University School of Medicine.
