We are also open to candidates eligible for licensure who can benefit from our comprehensive licensure supervision program. You will be joining an interdisciplinary treatment team of staff at CAVHS. This well-integrated team offers a range of services and with an emphasis on evidence-based interventions for Veterans with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). SUD services at CAVHS include Inpatient Detoxification, Outpatient Detoxification, Intensive Outpatient Programming, collaboration with a half-way house as well as a substance abuse residential rehabilitation treatment program, long term aftercare and continuation into the community.

Position: Full-time Staff Psychologist - Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Program

Key Highlights:

• Collaborate in a fast-paced clinic with a robust psychology training program.
• Engage in training the next generation of psychologists through internship and fellowship training opportunities.
• Provide group therapy within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
• Potential starting base salary range: $79,487 - $147,277 per year
• Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
• Recruitment/Relocation Incentive - Authorized
• Education Debt Repayment Program - Authorized, Approval amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application

Qualifications:

• Licensed psychologist preferred; licensure supervision available for eligible candidates.
• Previous VA experience is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to the clinic's fast-paced nature.
• Experience or interest in group therapy.
