This role has a starting salary of £43,923 per annum, based on working 36-hours per week. This is an 18-month fixed term/secondment opportunity.
We are excited to be hiring a new People and Organisational Development Partner (Workforce Planning and Recruitment) to join our fantastic People, Organisational Development and Pensions team. The team is based in Woodhatch place, Reigate, Surrey.

About the Team
The People and Organisational Development Team is overseen by the Chief of Staff in the Fire and Rescue Service which sits within the Communities, Protection and Emergencies directorate.
About the Role
As the People and Organisational Development Partner, you'll collaborate closely with the Strategic People and Organisational Lead to design, develop and implement the people and organisational development strategies and projects. The role will include managing multiple stakeholders and building relationships with line managers, trade unions and the wider council. Additionally, you will also work closely with our Learning Development and Assurance Manager as well as our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead to ensure the People Strategy is implemented and embedded across all areas of the Service.
You'll be managing and implementing bespoke People and Organisational Development interventions in the Fire and Rescue Service that will build organisational resilience and deliver outstanding performance. This will include supporting complex and politically sensitive change programmes working closely with our central HR advisory team, organisational development and business partnering teams within the County Council. You will also be required to use up-to-date knowledge of contextual developments within and outside the organisation and service to drive efficiencies and facilitate a continuous improvement approach within the service.
